A former Creative Director, Des Mullan is one of Ireland’s most prolific commercials director with a consummate understanding of the entire process of commercials production, from scripting stage to post production. A multi award winning director in both the Irish and International markets, Des has worked all over the globe. Des has been directing wonderful films for over 15 years. Creating beautifully framed and photographed commercials with an ability to deliver any style from performance driven, comedic vignettes, drama, hard working or epic cinematography, Des has a deep understanding of the craft and disciplines of commercials directing. A collaborative director, Des believes in working with the creative team and brings to every job his versatility, flexibility, and speedy approach. Des Mullan is a director who will bring all of his skills to your production, achieving shots that elevate the film, and all with a minimum of fuss. Des’s recent work has taken him around the world for both Irish and international clients from South Africa to Quebec, Canada, the Czech Republic, Eastern Europe, Asia, New Zealand, China, Switzerland, and of course his native Ireland. He has also recently completed 2 Strongbow commercials which really show his directorial and Special Effects skills. Des lives in the fishing village of Howth on the outskirts of Dublin where he is married with three children.
